Booking and Payment Policies
All reservations will be confirmed upon the receipt of 50% of total cost with the full balance due 60 days prior to arrival. If a cancellation is made 60 days or more prior to your arrival date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded. If a cancellation is made less than 60 days prior to your arrival date, the deposit is non-refundable. All holiday reservation deposits will be forfeited.

Driving Directions From Zihuatanejo Airport To Casa Dos Peces
Leaving airport there is one exit which continues in a straight northerly direction and passing through Zihuatanejo to a turn off which goes to the left to Ixtapa or to the right on highway 200 and Lazaro Cardenas.
Take the right hand turn on highway 200 toward Lazaro Cardenas. You will travel 15.7 miles or 25.3 kilometers to the turnoff to Troncones.
At this point there will be a Troncones sign and a turn out to the right which allows you to make a left and cross highway 200.
You will travel about ½ mile (.75 kilometer) to the road toward the beach. Travel 2.1 miles or 3.2 kilometers.
Make a right hand turn at the end of this road that travels along the ocean.
Travel 1.6 miles or 2.55 kilometers and take the left hand turn at the Y.
Travel .3 miles or .5 kilometer to Casa Dos Peces. If you see a sign for The Inn at Manzanillo Bay you missed the Y turnout.
FAQ's
Answers to some frequently asked questions by guests of Casa Dos Peces
Transportation from the Airport:
We recommend Gustavo Velasco for car rentals. Email: transvel_pin@hotmail.com. He has cars and suburbans.
Taxis are unionized, therefore airport taxis can take people to their destination, but only Troncones taxis can deliver people to the airport. Troncones cabs currently charge about $1,000 pesos for the trip. Generally cabs can handle about 5 people and they have a small trunk. The staff can arrange for the cabs to take you to the airport.
Arrival / departure at Dos Peces:
You will be met and greeted by Nery and Heron. Your departure will be handled by them as well.
Water:
We provide water for drinking which can be used to fill your water bottles. We fill pitchers to keep in the fridge to take to your room for the evening. We are happy to purchase individual water bottles and we will charge you accordingly, at the end of your stay.
Towels and Linens:
We provide all linens and towels for use in the rooms (white ones) and the pool, (stripped ones). We also have mats to take to the beach. There is a $15.00 charge for towels which become sandy, since we are unable to launder them in our washing machine.
Special Requests:
Let us know of any allergies or special requests for breakfast.
Baby sitters/child care:
We can make arrangements for child care. Depending on the ages of the children and how many, we can get you a quote.
Cash and Credit Cards:
We suggest you get pesos from the ATM at the airport. They have the best exchange rate. Credit cards can be used in Zihua / Ixtapa, and some locations in Troncones but it is limited. You can get the best prices if you deal in pesos. Be sure to notify your bank/credit card company that you are going to be in Mexico.
Massages:
Nery can arrange for a therapist to come to the house. A 50 minute massage is $700 pesos, plus tip. Payment in cash directly.
Horseback Riding:
Nery can arrange for horseback riding. Forty-five minutes is about $500 pesos per horse. The time and price can be negotiated depending on the situation, such as the ages of the children and how many adults. Direct cash payments.
Cooking/Dinner:
Nery is an excellent cook and will be happy to cook dinner for you. The cost is $7.00 USD per person per meal, plus the cost of groceries such as vegetables, chicken, beef or fish. Children under 6 are $3.50. Just let Nery know a day or two ahead of time, especially if you are ordering fish or lobster.
